In the phrame of the exhibition “Max Pechstein” at Kunsthalle Tübingen / 10th & 31 st of january and 18th of february, 2020
“…I still move in the lovely air of the circus. It is lucky that Sarrasani found his way back to Berlin…” wrote Max Pechstein to a friend in 1920 and captures scenes of the event in tense ink drawings. Unlike usual, in a joint process with choreographer Teresa Isabella Mayer, the participants are able to approach such selected drawings in Pechstein´s work not only visually, but as well through their body perceptions (through several perception exercises and dance experiences).
